Storm Water Services Fee Increase

The monthly Storm Water fees inside the City of Charlotte increased July 1, 2008.
- Increase is 7%
- This is an extra 39¢ per month for the owner of a typical single-family home in Charlotte
- Storm water fees are not increasing outside of the City limits

The Charlotte City Council and Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners held public hearings on the storm water fee increase in May and formally approved the higher fees when the City and County budgets were adopted in June 2008.
